This Review Overall Rating

L3 student, outsourced to Leading Edge for MEIR phase of training, post New Zealand CPL.

Airport site and facility generally very modern and well kept, as were the Sims. One sim was brand new and was brilliant to use. Everything within a decent proximity.

Accommodation wasn't amazing in the Scott House accommodation, but much nicer in the Westminster one across the road.

Instructors were generally very experienced and trained to a high standard. Many ex L3 ground school instructors from Coventry were there also - who are all the best in the ATPL field, so I'm sure ground school students at LE will be in good hands. SOP's were robust, but some awkwardness between L3 SOP's and LE SOP's, with nobody taking responsibility for who should follow what.

Quality of fleet was okay - the twinstars were constantly in maintenance down in Bournemouth, for both hourly checks and issues. Hopefully this is resolved at the time of writing.

Resources are readily available, and the atmosphere of the company is top notch. Really welcoming people and staff, and socials between students is great.

Passed first time MEIR, and overall a good experience with LE.
