I loved my training at Leading Edge Aviation. I chose this school after being let down by another large school that was experiencing very bad delays for students during their integrated training.
The instructors at Leading Edge were fantastic, always available to help, friendly, supportive and incredibly approachable.
Leading Edge have a fleet of Diamond aircraft which makes the transition from single engine to twin engine so easy. Flying glass cockpit planes throughout training is also very helpful when transitioning to the A320/B737 flight deck.
The accommodation provided by Leading Edge is outstanding.
Unlike a lot of other school, Leading Edge have continued to keep in touch after my training. They were always available to check my CV, give me advice for interviews and keep me updated with jobs. They have also arranged a big graduation for those that graduated during the pandemic.
One of the only negatives about Leading Edge is that during their expansion, at times they didn’t have enough aircraft compared to students which often meant limited flying during the week. Always be sure to speak to students about the reality of their training / how long it is taking to train, especially with U.K. weather.
Overall, by far one of the best training schools in the U.K.
