Completed my PPL with Redhill Aviation in 2018. Really good experience there with instructors Jim, Dirk and Laurance. Used the club aircraft for the majority of my hour building - they were really supportive with my creative hour building trips and were happy to make aircraft available over multiple days for me. Plenty of C152s and PA28s available, there is also a Seneca and an Arrow for more advanced training.

Flying from Redhill in the winter can be a little slower as the airfield is restricted only to using it's un licenced runway, which can lead to quite lengthy delays. Being so close to Gatwick as well has its pros and cons, and the ATC experience you get here is equivalent to that of a commercial airport.

Would highly recommend for initial flight training and/or hour building. Can't advise on CPL or IR as I did that elsewhere.
