Fly Poland is a small operation based at Milewo airfield. They have two Cessna 150s one of which is the long range version with a range of 5 hours.

I needed to build some hours and visit possible CPL schools in Poland and found these guys on Facebook. After sending them a message we very quickly booked me an aircraft with them for the 5 days of my trip. They respond very quickly and only needed a one hour deposit, €125.

meeting Michael at the airfield we had a quick chat about my experience, how long I wanted to fly each day, any areas I wanted to explore and then he talked me through their company, the aircrafts, what it’s like flying in Poland etc. Really informative and helpful, it was my first time in Poland! The price per hour also includes one of the owners as a safety pilot if you wish. They’re actually really good to have on board for when place names don’t sound like they look and general sightseeing tips. We had so much fun I managed to fly my 20 hours in 3 days and visit the schools.

Overall from the first Facebook message to meeting them at the airfield it was  great experience.

There’s not much in the way of facilities, it quite literally is a big hangar in a field. But it’s close enough to Plonsk to cycle for lunch if you’re having a break mid day at base. The aircraft are well looked after and they take safety quite seriously.

They’re talking about expanding and becoming an ATO at which point they would have to add some basics up there and some more aircraft. But for now, it works.

The Cessnas are quite old and could do with some updating, but they work and I guess are managing to keep the costs down.

Overall a great time flying with them and visited some amazing places thanks to their recommendations.
