This Review Overall Rating

I completed my PPL at Ravenair, based out of Liverpool airport which for starters is an amazing airfield to do your PPL at due to the exposure of controlled airspace and international air traffic.

the actual course itself run as smoothly as it could with Covid lurking, I completed the course with a skill test pass in 46 hours which was brilliant. The instructor Steve Dooley was flawless from the get go and always ensured you didn’t ever just scrape through a lesson, if he knew you wanted to go CPL, he’d make you fly like it!

aircarft were on the whole good, ranging from piper pa38 to Seneca’s for Multi engine. The a/c is old in terms of frame but they are perfectly maintained and updated accordingly so you’re never left behind. Aircraft availability is one of the best, especially at LPL due to their large fleet.

very happy with Ravenair and I plan to compete more ratings there in the near future.
