I took my MCC APS course at Jet Masterclass.
Instruction at JMC was second to none; patient, supportive and nurturing at all times. In the classroom, we were guided through various theories using practical real world examples which were validated and referenced throughout the course. Simulator work was introduced in stages and managed in such a way that enabled nervous students to achieve a high standard quickly whilst challenging the more confident students.
The various presentations were delivered in an engaging and professional style with useful references and visual aids that enhanced our understanding.
The training devices provided were in excellent condition, maintained to the highest standard and thoroughly cleaned prior to each session (I studied there in times of Covid). The time allocated to the Procedures Trainer facility prior to the Sim was invaluable and helped get the most out of our Sim session. Time in the Sim was used effectively with clear achievable objectives, and I was very grateful to have had the occasional extra bit of coaching - for me that really made a difference.
The facilities at JMC are pristine, very well cared for and the atmosphere is relaxed yet professional. I felt like a very welcome guest! The fact that we had time to chat and talk things over was wonderful - not all questions can be asked in the classroom, so that time over lunch or a coffee after the session was as valuable to me as the session itself! Our time was carefully managed throughout the course - it would be very easy to feel overloaded at times, but that never felt to be the case. Additionally, it was fascinating to meet the various professionals who 'popped in’ for a chat and a coffee over the three weeks, illustrating the obvious respect JMC has in the industry.
I would recommend JMC without hesitation. My only negative thought is that it was over too quickly. Thank you Frack, Martyn, Marina and Liam - it was a fantasic three weeks!
