I recently had the pleasure of completing an UPRT course with FPT. I cannot speak of them higher! The course started with a day of ground school, this really helped give the idea of UPRT more context and techniques we discussed we then explored in the aircraft making the whole course a much more rounded learning experience. After the ground school I completed 3 hours of flying in 2 lovely T67Ms, these aircraft are much loved by everyone there and the care that goes into keeping these girls flying is great to see. The weather wasn't always friendly to us, but changes in the course schedule were clearly communicated to me and some very effective planning and time management made sure all of us on the course got completed; so a big thanks must go out there. Adrian and Phil deserve a special mention. Their knowledge, experience, good humour and burning passion for flying translates into the lessons that we flew and undertook in the classroom helping me to feel right at home and get a more memorable learning experience. Their idea of using the aircraft as a "flying classroom" is brilliant and takes away the pressure of any dual IFR flight; creating an open environment were questions and mistakes are welcoming. If you are thinking of doing a UPRT course or any other they offer, look no further. I will definitely be coming back to do more of what you offer at FPT. Thank you.
