This Review Overall Rating

I studied for the IR(R) rating having put this off for 20 odd years. Personally I found the course incredibly demanding and wasn't at all sure that I would pass. I was fortunate to have mainly one instructor for the entire course, flying just 2 hours with another instructor. Thankfully the instructors professionalism and attention to detail got me through. During the time I was studying for the IR(R) aircraft availability was 100%.

Whilst the flying was definitely challenging, I found the theory and ground school work significantly easier. This in part was to do with the excellent training material but also because of the relaxed, but professional, manner in which the training was conducted.
