I completed my MCC/JOC course with Jet Masterclass back in August 2020. It was by far one of the most enjoyable 2 weeks I had throughout my pilot training. The atmosphere was a perfect balance of relaxed and professional.
From the get-go it was clear that JMCs primary objective is to provide you with the tools and knowledge of professional pilot working in a multicrew environment. The quality of instruction provided by Frank and Martyn was fantastic. In the classroom we covered a variety of topics such as pilot competencies and procedures. The training manual provided is very clear and concise.
Alongside the training manual, JMC presented to us their new Fusion app; introduced to help manage the steep learning curve and to provide alternative means of learning. The app contains podcasts, quizzes and videos. Being a visual learner, I found the videos to be an invaluable resource. Furthermore, the ability to go back to the app time and time again greatly helped to get to grips with the information being taught.
The Boeing 737-800 simulator is in pristine condition. The sessions are flown manually which strongly highlighted the importance of a good instrument scan as well as using pockets of time effectively to ensure that you are always ahead of the aircraft. At the end of each simulator session there is an in-depth debrief.
One thing that really stood out for me was JMC desire to get feedback from us the students. Not only does this make you feel valued as a customer, but also shows the care the team has in their product. Overall, I would highly recommend JMC.
