Admin was prompt with Carolin being proactive on availabilities and dates to slot me in, emailing me whenever there was availabilities.
Upon arrival I was greeted with a big smile from Andy and was offered a cup of tea.
The board briefing was half constructed as we add more information onto it as we progress through the case studies of past aviation accidents and how it links to the theory side. This was also a great opportunity to revise aspects of ATPL theory.
Before we went out flying we also had a flight brief and was shown how the safety gear works and aircraft worked.
Andy also made sure that all aspects of the A-UPRT was covered and tried to cover more aspects whenever possible dependent on how I felt during the flight. we also covered spinning which wasn't a requirement, however Andy made sure I covered this as he knew it would be something that's beneficial in my Flight instructors course and my future progression as I head into the commercial world.
Throughout the course I felt more and more confident as a pilot and that is exactly what you want in flying.
