I decided to complete my UPRT(A) with FPT after speaking to several students from different schools and am very glad I did.

I was taught alongside another student over two days in Slingsby T67 aircraft. The instructor (Adrian) was excellent and with his aerobatic and airline background, had no problem delivering a very professional, enjoyable yet advanced course of theory and practical training.

From my experience as a flight instructor, I know that sometimes the lowest-cost can be the deciding factor for many students, but I would urge you not to consider a UPRT provider on this basis alone. Upset recovery is a potentially life-saving skill and I'm glad to have completed the course over two days instead of trying to cram into one. I was also grateful to be taught why the concept of simply 'pushing' won't always resolve an upset situation - something which I think demonstrates the knowledge and experience of the instructors at FPT.

I would have no hesitation in recommending FPT for this course of training. Communication was clear and concise and they were able to fit me in on short notice, with a flexible roster to suit my needs. The standard of instruction was superb, incorporated the ICAO competencies and was delivered in a structured, efficient manner.

Thank you to Adrian and Carolin for your support!
