We would like to draw your attention to a report commissioned by the Department for Transport (DfT) that was published recently concerning funding for flight training. The remit for the report was that the DfT wished to understand the extent of the problems associated with the high costs of flight training. The DfT commissioned the specialist transport consultancy SYSTRA to complete the report.
The very thorough report also makes some recommendations on page 60 for the government to consider.
