I trained at afta as integrated.

half-way through my training the COVID pandemic started but the situation was

managed by AFTA in a very serious and effective manner.

This reflects the commitment that the school takes toward students.

flights and lessons are well organised and with some preparation by the student the process is easy enough.

I flew everywhere on the island, to almost every airport in Ireland during the hour building and enjoyed it immensely.

A bit of a downside is the weather unfortunately, as it may take students quite a while to get through their solo flights but after that things will proceed smoothly.

Initially it seems difficult to be able to do the ATPL exams in 6 months but other students and I managed with intensive self studying and the help from the school.

Instructors are very well prepared and professional and will help you sort out any doubt you may have.

The most enjoyable part in my personal experience was the APS MCC which I found super enjoyable, of a very high level and well organised.

The simulator is great and of a very high quality.

I would suggest AFTA organises a more regular transport between the academy and the hangars since there is no available public transport.

Overall I would definitely highly recommend training at AFTA.
