I studied the integrated ATPL course, this started in September 2019 and finished feb of 2022. This took longer than I had planned for initially. However I believe a lot of this delay can be put on Covid related lockdowns which stopped all flying initially, and Brexit lead extensions. 

When I started I was working towards a CAA EASA recognised license, however after starting this became impossible. The school was supportive trying to gather information and make recommendations for what at the time very uncertain period when UK government decided to leave EASA. This was a stressful period having completed some exams at the time and no confirmation these would be accepted by EASA. however it was all sorted and I eventually achieved both a CAA and an IAA EASA license at a comparatively small additional cost.

I was very happy with facilities, and as I've been going through the school they have been improving further. The school has a brilliant collection of instructors in both grounds school and on the flight line. FTA at times did suffer with delays and shortages of aircraft, however I feel it's fair to say, the school did all they could within their power to fix these issues as and when they appeared. Personally I experienced a slight delay moving from the DA40 to DA42 Aircraft. FTA were very transparent with timescales. I understand this may have effected student renting more than myself, as I was able to remain at home throughout training and travel, this worked well with a 35 minute commute. 

I felt all staff are happy to stop and chat in-depth around any topic if you feel you need further support, and the level of teaching was extremely high. I would recommend FTA to a friend. It has the small company approachability combined with large Business professionalism and scope.

having only finished now I can't get comment for postgraduate support.
