This Review Overall Rating

A very good school with high availability in both aircraft and instructors.

The instructors are very professional, well-trained, and highly experienced in various flying scenarios. There is excellent support from both instructors and the chief pilot, who are willing to help and assist in overcoming weaknesses. They challenge comfortable students and ensure no one is left behind, arranging everything possible to address students' weaknesses. There are ample opportunities to fly, including backseat experiences, which is crucial for flight schools nowadays.

The aircraft, including Cessna 172s and DA42s, are in very good condition.

The APS-MCC program is a step further, providing direct exposure to airline operations and the handling of large passenger jets, a significant departure from prop aircraft. Instructors, experienced airline pilots, guide students through a curriculum that enhances technical and non-technical skills, preparing them for airline assessments where communication, situational awareness, and instrument scan skills are crucial.

The only drawbacks are related to the location in Cork. Despite being a nice city, finding accommodation can be challenging, and having a car is preferable for mobility. However, the school may assist with accommodation arrangements.
