I have enrolled in the Ryanair Mentored Programme with AFTA. The course itself was very well structured with a clear programme which was very professionally executed. All of the instructors had very good knowledge of the aircraft and SOPs.
The support given to the students is second to none. All of the staff at AFTA follow closely their students and not just during their course but also during the airline assessment preparation phase.
Something which I thing can be done better is the scheduling of such course. Considering that students, such as myself, have to make travel and accommodation arrangements, the complete schedule should be given out well ahead of the course commencement date and not after the course has already started.
Overall the experience with AFTA was truly a rewarding and also successful one since I have now been successful in my airline assessment and will soon start my type rating.
