I recently joined FPT to complete the advanced UPRT course as a part of my Modular ATPL.
The service I received was above and beyond what I expected. The facilities are modern, the learning materials provided were excellent, the instructors (I had a 3:1 instructor:student ratio . . yes, you read that right!) were all fantastic with a huge / varied depth of experience and the aircraft well suited to the task.
Owing to their location, upon take off you are immediately into uncontrolled airspace and able to focus on the necessary tasks and with the benefit of a tarmac runway offering year round availability. This saves time and money, I can't think of a better location in the South East to do it.
It was a fantastic learning experience and I definitely came away feeling in a much better place to be able to deal with an upset recovery situation.
